The Tingawura Alhaji Seidu Sampson Abudu Foundation is a non-profit, community-focused initiative established to promote sustainable development and improve the quality of life for people in the Savannah Region of Ghana.
Founded by Alhaji Seidu Sampson Abudu, the Foundation reflects his deep commitment to giving back to society and responding to the trust and confidence reposed in him by the people following his election as a Council of State Member.
The Foundation focuses on key development areas including education, environmental protection, drug and substance abuse prevention, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), with the aim of building healthier, empowered, and resilient communities.
We are a purpose-driven non-governmental organization committed to building a healthier, safer, and more sustainable future for our communities. Our work is centered on two critical areas: environmental protection and the prevention of drug abuse, both of which are essential to the well-being and long-term development of society.
Founded on the belief that lasting change begins with awareness and collective action, we strive to educate, empower, and inspire individuals—especially young people—to make responsible choices that positively impact their lives and the environment around them.
Environmental Protection
We lead initiatives aimed at preserving natural resources, reducing pollution, and promoting sustainable practices. Through clean-up campaigns, tree planting, and environmental education programs, we encourage communities to take an active role in protecting their surroundings.
Drug Abuse Prevention
We work to combat drug abuse by raising awareness about its dangers and providing education and support systems for vulnerable groups. Our outreach programs, workshops, and partnerships with schools and community leaders help empower individuals to make informed and healthy decisions.
We believe in collaboration, inclusivity, and grassroots action. By partnering with local communities, institutions, and stakeholders, we ensure that our programs are impactful, sustainable, and responsive to real needs.
Mission: To improve lives and empower communities in the Savannah Region through impactful interventions in education, environmental sustainability, drug abuse prevention, and water, sanitation, and hygiene.
Vision: To build a thriving Savannah Region where every individual has access to quality education, a clean and healthy environment, and the opportunity to live a productive, drug-free life.
Motto: Empowering Lives, Transforming Communities”
